Sarah Bourne, bookkeeper.
I’ve been bookkeeping since 2012, running my own business since 2014. My coach and mentor, Cindy Jamieson, is a CPA accountant of 20 years + and spent many years bookkeeping before that. I couldn’t have been trained by a better person!!
My clients include retail, restaurants, resort activities, construction and medical so I have a pretty good idea of what’s needed for most small to medium businesses from a bookkeeping perspective.
Focus on your business, not your paperwork
- Would you rather be servicing your client’s needs or selling your awesome products rather than doing your bookkeeping?
- Do you have a pile of receipts that you keep telling yourself you’ll deal with but never quite get the time?
Since I began bookkeeping in 2012 there’s one thing that I’ve noticed; many people are good a their trade or profession be it a chef, carpenter, plumber, cafe owner or other entrepreneur but this doesn’t necessarily mean that they want to crunch numbers or even know how to! Bills mount up, invoices aren’t sent, clients don’t pay, taxes and payroll liabilities mount up or CRA deadlines are missed.
Focus on what you do best – running your business!
By handing over your bookkeeping to Kootenay Bookkeeping you can concentrate on what you do best with the peace of mind that your business is in good hands.
Your place or mine?
I offer bookkeeping services either at your office using your computer and filing systems or I can take your paperwork to my office and report back to you. I use Sage 50 (aka Simply Accounting) as I find it has the best versatility.
